Is this service free?
Yes, completely. No account, no subscription, no hidden fees. All route guides are free to browse.
How confident should I be in the recommendations?
Each recommendation comes with a confidence level — HIGH, MEDIUM, or LOW. HIGH means the geometry strongly favours one side (e.g. Delhi–Leh where the entire Kullu Valley is west of the flight track). LOW means both sides are broadly similar and the difference is marginal. Check the route guide for details.
My route isn't listed. Can I request it?
Yes. Send the route through the contact details above. The route guides at
/posts/ are pre-computed for popular and scenic routes.
Can the best side change by departure time?
Yes. A 6 AM and a 2 PM departure on the same route can have different sun exposure. Each route guide gives a general recommendation based on typical path geometry and scenic value.
Do you work with airlines or booking platforms?
No. We're fully independent. No airline, OTA, or seat upgrade service pays us or influences our recommendations. The data is purely geometric.
